That's wonderful because it allows for every single game/map variant file to not only be preserved, but also fully playable on the hardware when servers go down. I think if I paste the hex code straight in I should be able to add a built in gametypes or map variant, even if it'd be annoying. So this is fun, the built_in files are actually stored right in the main menu map file itself! The tag name is globals/variant_globals The problem is I cracked open the reach source code and I cannot find them? But they have to be stored in there somewhere right? So I'm thinking I can add the raw variant files into the built in directory like you can on MCC since I have an RGH console. Hey all, I've been trying to backport the Halo megapack but the 360 requires containers since the non-built in ones are saved files.
